Open a file suggestion.
Hi Blender community.
When we click File and then Open, it would be super great if it was possible to type in a start "letter" for searching a specific file that starts with that specific letter. Now it just does all kinda of different shortcuts when you hit some of the letters.
Example. If im searching for a saved blender file and called it House" i could hit the letter h and it would jump down into my files that started with an H.

There is always the search bar...
But for real, i don't believe this would be useful, as it would disable the shortcuts, e.g. select all. Also Files can be sorted by name, date and size. Your proposal is only applicable with sort by name.
Maybe a better suggestion: Add autocomplete to the file name field (next to open/cancel). With autocomplete you could just type in FA for FileA, just like the search options in nodes or search menu.
He said filename that starts with a letter, not a filename that contains a letter.
(Like, use search for the letter E and look at the non-useful result...)
