Better visibity of selected items in the outliner.
When something gets selected in the viewport and my eyes move to the outliner I can't initially see it because the toggle on icon for the selected item is so.......
....subtle.
Why not make it bold so the eye goes directly to it? Make it hot pink or neon green. Or at least give the option make it any bright, annoying color we want to make it.

Probably would be best to make a mock-up of this... or better yet, create a custom theme with the colors you want and suggest that in your proposal.
