Rendering progress saved even after shutown/restart.
For rendering sometimes we have to keep PC running straight 1-2 Days depending on the export. Sometimes, it isn't feasible as there are power cuts. So, I was wondering, if it is possible to make a feature that saves your rendering progress even after closing the application even after shutdown and restart of PC.
Something for blender like Adobe has media encoder but with resume rendering even after closing app and shutdown.
Thank you for reading. Have an awesome day!

good idea, this is something other engines have. I guess you could try strip rendering in a render manager such as Deadline (free). This way you'll only ever be rendering a very small image, so can wait a small amount of time before closing down, or just close and resume from the start of the exited strip.
You can't really resume a single frame that was not finished.
As for animation rendering, the common usage is to render image sequences rather than video files, for this reason among others.
* @-L0Lock- * There was a video from a few years ago where one of the blender developers showed a terminal command that would take a saved frame file and continue adding more render samples to it. I have looked forever and can't find the video again. Anyway, with such a feature you could perhaps automate blender to open, add to an existing frame for 30 minutes, save, quit, and repeat.
