[Windows installer] Option to prevent desktop icon on silent install.
Disclaimer: I am a sysadmin, not a Blender user.
I would like to be able to install (deploy) Blender silently without a desktop icon.
Note, I'm not looking for how to remove the icon after the install. That is not difficult, but it is a "messier", more complicated method of achieving the same thing. (For example, removal after the fact could cause a background install to present and then remove an icon to the user which is confusing.)
Many/most .msi installers have a
DisableDesktopShortcut=1
or
AddDesktopIcon=0
option to make this clean and easy. Could someone add an option like that to the installer?
Thanks!
