Right Click Select site needs sorting by top ideas
The site's main purpose is diminished by inability to sort the ideas based on their post rating. I would expect such functionality to be essential. "Hot" sorting may remain as the default, so that new promising ideas do not get buried, however it's important to be able to sort by the idea quality so that popularity of the really good ideas can grow exponentially.
Right now, even the most excellent ideas can end up forgotten on some deep page because both recent and hot sorting orders favor ideas by their chronological order, not quality.

You're absolutely right. I find myself asking if any developer comes here, due to the nature this site has come to. I put some effort now and then to write down some proposals here, the idea is in general good, ...but is it worth?

Is it possible to start some kind of fundraiser to hire someone to implement sorting of ideas by vote count?
This! Atm, this site kinda feels like Reddit. Good Ideas get attention for a week and then fade into oblivion.

What is the "Hot" sorting? I can't recognised what is the rule? Anyway I vote up for reason already mentioned here.
@mond: It sounds like it would sort acording the little "fire" icons (which I don't know what they come from). But it actually seems to be doing a sorting from the lates comment posted.
