Add keywords in the proposal to avoid Duplicate suggestion
I see many proposal which demand similar features but as they get duplicated their vote count cut divide and hence not noticeable by developers. please upvote this issue if you want RCS a better forum for handling your issues.

could be avoided if people would search first, ironic considering similar suggestions as this one have been made multiple times :)
Problem not in key words, problem in too simpy search and peoples who don't use search at all. Time ago search was smarter, people too...

its not about quality of search engine, but not searching at all :/
I guess that search could be obligatory, like "click this search link to continue", or have current simple search result page before clicking submit
* @Pawel Piotrowski * This is what forums like blenderartists.org and devtalk do- as you're typing your topic it's also providing a list of potential threads that already cover the topic. Doesn't completely prevent reposts but it certainly helps
