Distribute points on Mesh node with a # of points vs. density option

We have a distribute points on face node already. But the density value is difficult to control. Scaling an object (and applying the transforms) can change your point density dramatically.

If we had a distribute points on mesh node, then we could have the option of not using density, but rather using a total # of points value in its place. Then, no matter whether you scale your object, or even if you apply the scale, the total point distribution will remain the same.

actually it's already achievable via duplicate elements, but distribute could've that option too

Could you share a link that explains how that would work? I am very interested in figuring out how to set an absolute number of distributed points. Thanks.

Thanks! That is super helpful!
