Primitive add tool with possibility to enter numeric input.
Similar way it works in SketchUp.

Could you elaborate? For what numeric values? How would this look in Blender? It's not very useful to make a partial sentence and drop a software name most people don't use and won't check outside RCS.

The new Add <primitive> tool won't let you enter the dimensions... You can only set its "Size", which seems to be merely a uniform scale.
I must be missing something. Is the only benefit of the NEW tool that you get to place the object, instead of getting it slapped onto the cursed 3d cursor? (And at this point I am not even surprised you can't navigate the viewport when placing the object.)
Sometimes I wonder if the devs even use Blender.
