Shape tool for grease pencil and more
dear blender developers i hope you review my humble suggestion
look how i was trying to plot a hypothetical wheel on my tank , it would have made easier for me and other users in that kind of situation that if blender had an adjustable shape tool for grease pencil
Shape tool would consist of a adjustable polygon shape and a adjustable star shape
it would be good for precise plotting with snapping enabled
this tool would go in handy when making architectural diagrams for clients, developers etc and conceptualizing movie scenes before production like 3d story boarding
i would also request blender developers to introduce something like inkscape's "dashes" option for grease pencil
it would remove the exhausting burden of having to make every dot or line in a spaced stroke or a simpler solution would be to introduce spacing option for grease pencil strokes
i would also humbly request dear blender developers to develop a text option for grease pencil with the added ability of different font styles and adjustable para-graphical alignment

We already have shape tools in Blender's Grease Pencil. Check your toolbar while in GP draw mode:
We also already have support for dotted lines, it's even one of the default GP materials included:
There is also the Dot Dash modifier, which works by removing existing dots, so it can be used as an always adaptive dot/dash maker if you use it on dense GP strokes:
You don't have the Circle Tool and the Square tool though? You also have the Curve Tool that allows you to push the curve with controls points before committing to the shape, and you have a few other ways to make shapes without having to use hand drawn lines.
