Linked file management window

it's actually quite hard to manage linked files correctly

I think that we need a window dedicated to this task, with the option to load / unload (without deleting) / reload / delete / duplicate / replace / add proxy / lock a linked file. we also need to be able to hard import a linked file from this window, to simplify files sharing and renderfarm management

Maya reference editor is a very good inspiration for this : knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2018/ENU/Maya-ManagingScenes/files/GUID-8D8E0D4A-DE37-4C63-9F59-8D71F00E3367-htm.html

  • don't forget that Blender has this system where on linked data you must first turn it into a "library override" before being able to do any change to it, including animating which is a huge waste of time and source of confusion from beginners and pros from other softwares.

This should be at least an option while browsing for a link, as well as in this proposed link editor, or even done automatically. Without any user attention need.
