Simultaneous Touch + Pen Display functionality
Hi, with the advent of the Blender iPad app, I wanted to offer as a student a huge usability upgrade we could have on the desktop version of Blender.
For those that use a pen display(say, XP-PEN Artist Ultra), being able to rotate(single finger swipe), pan(two finger swipe), and zoom in/out with pinch, as well as undo (two finger tap), redo (three finger tap) and home view (single finger double tap) would be a massive quality of life upgrade.
It is really unwieldy to use a pen display with a keyboard or needing to use up precious pen button real estate to bind rotate/pan/zoom.
Maya already supports touch multi-gestures with pen displays. The closest Blender does is sadly only with a laptop trackpad, but it does not with pen display touch screens.
Please take into consideration touch navigation and manipulation with further releases.

I’ve built a version of Blender for Windows that supports touchscreens, you can give it a try.
I got a XP-Pen Artist 27 Pro which has touch abilities and Id love to be able to use them in Blender for panning around, rotating the view, 2 finger undo 3 finger redo, etc. I use Grease Pencil mainly and the touch controls would be great. I look at CSP and Toon Boom Harmony, both have touch controls that also are disabled when they sense the pen touching the screen.
Hopefully this gets added.
