3D Cursor Lock
Proposal:
Add the option to block 3D cursor transformations.
It can be in the "Overlays" menu, in the properties panel or appear when the 3D cursor is selected as an active tool, in the top bar.

It shoulndt go there, overlays is visibility of stuff in the viewport, maybe the lock could appear in the top bar when having the 3D cursor tool selected.
I would add the rotation too don't you think ? ^^
@Yves Perera: There is no rotation setting for 3D Cursor in N panel too. Its still changing maybe it is going to be added.
Yes, 3D Cursor Rotation for me ist`s must have! Very important feature.
I like this proporsal but nowaday with the "Left Click Keymap" you don't have the problem of "move accidentaly" because it's assigned to shift + RC and with shift + s you have the cursor 3d pie menu.

the idea is really easy to do there is in N menu coordinates a lock as for other coordinates in this panel and that's done
Don't know why you'd need that... Would have been useful in 2.7, but you can't really misplace the cursor by accident in 2.8...
Yes, there is nothing more frustrating than snapping to cursor when you have just accidentally re-positioned it. However "left click" might help that, maybe. It would be nice to know that its locked and safe from being stuffed by the user.
Please include some text with your proposal. That makes it easier to find when users are searching the site.
