Make snapping work *through* culled (back)faces
When I turn on backface culling to see through obstructing faces, it feels counterintuitive that snapping does not work through these (invisible) faces.

This should also apply to selecting objects
But I agree that snapping to invisible is unintuitive.
hide faces and snapping will ignore em If it is different object, you can use mask modifier
* @ Vyacheslav * I know you're only trying to help but a suggestion like this, while technically correct, defeats the purpose of this proposal. It's akin to telling someone they can drive a car from LA to New York if the airplane isn't working
yes, I am just trying to help to solve problem now, as it possible. Nothing against proposal and I upvoted it from start.
