Ability to cancel Remesh operation in Sculpt mode...
WOuld be nice to cancel the process by hitting escape.
I have crashed my Blender in sculpting at least 10 times in the last hour, I lost my hair during the process.... Accidently hit remesh on a very small pixel size.
Sometimes hitting remesh not crashes but hangs up the blender for indefinitely long time...

Systemwide, escape should be able to cancel any operation. It's always a bummer when you accidentally do an operation that makes the program unresponsive for 5 minutes.

* @qwertquart * Yeah, it's quite annoying that some operations let you cancel/revert and others don't. Like if you extrude and hit Escape, it's not actually reverted, but leaves faces overlapped in that case... etc
Yes we agree. how can we upvote this issue. also I think blender people will be working on such big issues.
* @mrajendra2150 * Not even sure Upvoting means anything... I haven't seen too much things get in to Blender from the Hot proposals... Not sure why... Sad though... :( Even if u learn coding, and how to alter the Blender itself, and u push a patch.... there is a big chance ,that an official dev does not review ur patch... I've seen tons a of patches, from 2019/2018 which still waiting for review....
Not just remesh but also higher subdivision or any operation....
