Marking selected mesh objects

  1. I propose to change the labeling of objects in the mesh. For example: - When selecting a vertex, it is highlighted with a white dot, from which light rays extend along the edges. I suggest removing them. They interfere with concentration when separating arrays from vertices.

  2. When four vertaxes forming a polygon are selected, this polygon is highlighted in yellow, which I consider unacceptable. The work is done with vertices, why show the selected polygon? The same applies to highlighting edges. When working with polygons, if you select it, a white frame runs along the edges of the polygon. It also needs to be removed, because it is unnecessary and only gets in the way. Also, vertexes should not be shown as white dots. In general, what we work with is the only thing that can be seen.

The edge highlighting is pretty useful for any workflow where you might have split edges and duplicated verts so you can see which verts are attached to which edges.

The face is highlighted because face specific operations (inset, extrude, etc.) can still work when you have 4 verts selected, so if for whatever reason you select a face by selecting it's corners you don't have to switch to face select mode to do those operators. It is also useful during medium and long range viewing of an object because it fills in the gaps between selected vertices, creating a view of what you have selected instead of a grid of dots.
