Tris to Quads: Would be good, but still requer better design intead of just "??? 😉".

Isn't poke face just a specific kind of subdivision? Would make sense as a mode in the subdivide node IMHO.

Cool..
Poke faces and tris to quads are high on my wishlist...🙂 I really miss those from other software... very useful...
Fill curve? Feels like a painful workaround, don't you think?
Solidify: Extrude + Join? I don't think this workaround works well on most situations like the proper solidify does... 🤔
By the way, the "???" is meant to be like "insert node here". Like, I'm pretty sure there are many more modeling functions that would be great to have as a node... 😉

@-L0Lock- poke doesn't feel like subdivision to me. In other 3d apps it is always a separate node

Hey, please, you all not in other software, describe things like
File
,
Poke
, .... little more
these node will be hard to work with. Geometry nodes is more suitable for particle scattering, particle simulation, motion graphics. So its, better develop features in those areas, so it could have more potential.
Because artists normally don't use houdini for modeling. For modeling, artists use blender, maya and 3ds max. Houdini often used for proceduaral physics simulations, motion graphic and particle scattering.
Similary geometry nodes procedural workflow. So should be developing more on physics simulations, motion graphic and particle scattering....etc.

@suhail1 Hard? You must be joking.
Look at this video for example
(at minute 2:20)
, by the OP itself (theredwaxpolice), where he uses the poke and untriangulate nodes in c4d to quickly generate this type of diagonal topology procedurally. Can get any easier than that? Without those nodes it would be a nightmare.

Yeah, we need those.
Why tris to quads is not there yet? Oh boy

Hard for you, maybe. Some of us construct entire complex models using only geonodes.
Why wouldn't Procedural modeling be equally valuable?
I'll close this as "Incomplete" since these combined requests just confuse discussion and tracking in the future.
