Scale snap vert selection along Axis to 0

It would be ideal, if there was an ability to "interactively" scale along an Axis to 0 all 'selected' vertices.

Right now, you can use Ctrl+scale along an axis. But once all verts are horizontal or "zero'd out" in that alignment. It scales right into the negative space of that selection with no user input ability to control, or prevent that behavior. Instead of holding at that 0 space alignment. Which is not ideal in most cases for clean modeling.

I would suggest this be integrated in a matter to scale along an axis allows you to incrementally snap all verts to a 0 alignment whether (global, local, normal, etc.) selection type. Possibly as a refinement or polish of the current existing Ctrl+scale axis gesture controls that are currently in Blender.

Note: This would be useful to add in with UVs as well, as an additional thought. blender_scalesnapto0_idea.png

I dont know how you are doing but you can simply press S then Z then 0. instead of Z whatever axis you want.

Also for quick behaviour simply install machine tools (free) addon which gives you align pie that is very helpful for such operation. even you will have option like top, bottom and center alignment.
