I hope the Undo History only shows the actions that created changes on the file/work

I'd like to have the option to only show non-select history states in the undo history. I think Undo History is very useful item especially for people who use grease pencil because just using Ctrl+Z could make us go back too much or not enough with nonobvious change on the display such as small dots and airbrush drawing, unification of items, etc. However, meaningless "select" operation occupies a number of lines on Undo History, and because of that, I can't go back enough. I am afraid if I change the preference setting so that I can record more lines on Undo History, it would take more memory, and even not, it is not simple to recognize the history. I hope the Undo History only shows the actions that created changes on the file/work. Attached was the Undo History created when I was trying to select vertex in circle.
