Automatically switch to Xray mode.
I get very frustrated with having to press Alt+Z every time I want to select the back side of a model in Blender. Why does Blender want me to press the shortcut every time?

This little add-on only switches to Xray mode when select it. However, it is not yet supported in 3.0. That's why I'm here. Blender should add more small options like this addon as a standard feature. This should be possible soon. And please don't force users to press shortcuts that make no sense at all.

No, Blender should have the option to allow selecting non-frontfacing elements independently of the display options.
It doesn't make sense to be forced to change the DISPLAY in order to be able to SELECT in the first place.
No, It seem to be getting the message in a different way. Give a way to select the back side at all times, except in Xray mode.
Why except in Xray mode?
