CEL-SHADING GLORY!!
Hi! I’m a cel-shading explorer and I can see that Blender already have good tools for normal editing, however, a better set have been made for other softwares, specially Maya and Softimage in the past. NPRs are things that are really showing off lately and I understand Blender is catching up with it, particularly speaking of freestyle and real-time rendering. Though, I good popup to finely control vertices is still missing, such as the one linked next: youtube.com/watch Please notice how professional is this relatively simple tool, I wished VERY MUCh that one of these should be made for Blender, would really push up the cel-shading production! By editing the normals we can have full control over the lighting upon the surface, which is exactly what matters to produce a quality looking toon shader.

It's not exactly clear what you're specifically proposing. It sounds like you'd like to have "better" editing of normals for the reasons of improved cel shading, but you don't give any specific proposal about what "better" looks like. What tools would you add to Blender? How would you propose that Blender users access them? Without information like that, this proposal is incomplete.
Normal editing tools are not very good indeed. It's possible to achieve this result but as usual it takes more take and energy than necessary. Some improvements would be welcome.
