Windows File dialog speed: ridiculously slow
On Windows 10, the speed with which the file dialog switches between volumes is ridiculously slow.
No big idea here, except the obvious: MAKE IT COMPARABLE TO OTHER PROGRAMS.

Perhaps a bug for you? Switching between my 4 drives is practically instantaneous on my PC
Make it a bug report; perhaps...
Is that really a Blender Specific problem? I got a brand new windows gaming laptop and trying to to open the Downloads folder (which contains only 5 small jpg and 2 small pdf files) takes over 10 seconds. Opening a window to look at a brand new and empty USB drive also takes over 10 seconds.
* @thinsoldier * , I don't know, maybe?
