Coloured Timeline Markers

Markers in the timeline are quite useful for keeping track of events and timing in your animation. However they can quickly become visually crowded and difficult to distinguish from each other, especially because their names are getting cut.

My suggestion is an option to colour your markers and maybe even timeline segments to keep your animation organized.

A more complex idea would also be to be able to bind keyframes to markers, so I can easily reposition the keyframes independent of objects relating to a certain event without having the first find and select all objects in the scene that are reaction to the event marked by the marker.
