Frame Selected in edit mode with nothing selected frames whole mesh
If you press Frame Selected with no selection, it might be nice if the view focused on the mesh (as if the entire mesh was selected) instead of doing nothing. It's a small thing but it saves having to select all manually every time.
It's mainly useful in situations where an array modifier makes Frame Selected in object mode focus on the whole array instead of just the editable object.

Well I like the idea to frame the entire mesh that way, but I think it's a terrible idea to bind that to <kbd>F</kbd>. That key is already used for making faces and edges, and there is already a key for framing on selection: <kbd>Numpad .</kbd>
* @-L0Lock- * Whoops, custom keymap! Will modify :D
* @John *
* @-L0Lock- * I used the F key like in Maya. A much betetr use of that key than making faces.
* @Orphydian * for you maybe. I use shift+a like in modo, who wins? me or you? answer: neither.
* @testure * Everyone can have whatever keymap they want, that's one of the reasons I love Blender
* @John * oh I agree, that's more or less the point I was making in a sardonic way. Just drives me crazy when people insist the Maya way is inherently better because that's where they came from, ignoring the people who came from some other software (or started with blender)
* @testure * it seems like that key also frames the selection or frames all in Maya as well, figure so I can keep hapily making faces lol
Modo and modo users always had this obsession of being ignored, probably for good reasons
Just press Shift + C?
* @mrgesy * It's the "view all" shortcut, unless you remove everything else of your scene it can't frame you view on an object's mesh specificly.
I wrote a custom python operator a while back that does this. When I'm not in my phone I'll share it on pastebin.
