It's a bit unclear what you're asking for here and what the specific use case might be. Could you provide more detail (and perhaps mock-up images)?

I think I can shed some light on the matter: I have created this procedural Tv noise effect in blender imgur.com/a/VNW2wCe and I would like to export it to an image sequence for external uses. Currently the only way to do this (without add-ons) seems to be using an orthographic camera pointing to the plane and getting the Diffuse Color Pass, but it's difficult to perfectly fit the plane into the camera boundaries and some information may be lost at the edges of the plane. It would be great to be able to have an option officialy implemented in Blender to do such a task. That way Blender could be used too as a tool to create procedural animated textures for others softwares or media.
