Bisect as modifier

Bisect is well known feature which give us ability to do "plane cut" It is really usefull, but Bisect is feature of Edit mode, so when we apply it, blender looses all information about cutted half.

Bisect is more gently than traditional boolean, it fills cutted part with UV-s and vertex colours.

Also, bisect do cuts and can leave open holes, what is convinient for mirror. It will be really nice to have ability to use object as controller for rotation of bisect (aka mirror object)

Common use: Custom "non manifold" mirror (look link) imgur.com/tGYiE9P Preview cuts for architecture presentations etc

this would be a great feature. However I think it would be a modified version of the boolean modifier.

Given that it would need some kind of input which would likely end up being a planar plane it might be a better approach to clean up the boolean modifier's doing to give cleaner results. Maybe as a 3rd cutting mode type for example.
