Display different collections in different 3D viewports

The "Object Types Visibility" dropdown allows the user to set visibility up differently in each 3D viewport. The "Collections Visibility" dropdown however changes the visibility in all 3D viewports.

It would be great to be able to isolate certain collections in separate viewports. This for example would make it easier to focus on them, while watching the overall result in another viewport.

In Blender 2.79 there was the "Unlock Layers" feature that allowed the user to display different layers in different viewports.

Please consider implementing this function if it's not already there, and I am just missing it :-)

Thank you all for your time!

I was about to make this same proposal 😁 The other day I made a thread in devtalk to ask about this feature, before making a proposal. Please, give it a read and the replies. devtalk.blender.org/t/where-is-un-lock-camera-and-collections-previously-lock-camera-and-layers/4012

@Wo! 262: Thanks for the link! I was searching the web for a mention of this feature before I made this proposal, and I couldn't find anything :-)
