Multiple grease pencil visibility while drawing
I have a very annoying problem, while drawing I can only see one grease pencil object at a time and effects are applied globally, so maybe the effects may be applied to layers or just be able to se more than one grease pencil at a time

I think this is a misunderstanding of what that changing that element does. When you open that drop-down it doesn't change what Grease Pencil object is being edited, it instead changes the current object's data to match the other object's data, effectively creating two linked copies of the same object. To change what object is being modified you need to exit draw mode to object mode, select the other object then go back to draw mode.
Weird...i never noticed that drop down. looks like it's a way to quickly switch between different grease pencil objects. I always just go to object mode to switch objects. i think this is a bug.....i notice other Greasepencil objects become weirdly layered. I say report it. Help>Report bug
