selected objects should be added to New Collection
when theres multiple objects selected and the New Collection button is pressed the selected objects should be moved into the New Collection thats created

This is already in Blender, but need to use the Move to Collection operator instead with the M key, you can create a New Collection from this menu and then select that collection and all selected objects will move to it.
I think it means dragging 3D objects into the collection folder of the outliner ! no ?
