Dissolve edge loops based on angle

Dissolve edge loops based on angle. The loop direction is based on the current selection.

I think this could be useful when you have geometry that comes from curves or otherwise has too many loops in certain places, and needs a more even distribution of edge loops. You will get a smooth transition, because the angle between two faces in the loop, determines if it should be dissolved.

Until we have it as a native feature, we can use Optiloops: blenderartists.org/t/optiloops-new-loops-optimizing-addon/1140235

Optiloops is sweet indeed. I agree we need it as a modifier.

why 'select similar by angle' doesnt work in such situations?

Vyach

* @impacman * because edges in one loop can have different angles. But you still can select edges, then loops.

EzyPoly

* @ Vyacheslav * well, how this suggestion will behave then?

Vyach

* @impacman * Operation is possible with addon or few vanilla operations. So I don`t see the point, why should it be core function. I think, it is better to ask addon developer to improve addon, if something missed.
