Background images COPY button
Sometimes when I'm setting up reference images for a particular view, I just want to copy an existing view's image, and maybe swap it out for a different layer of the same image that I've worked up.
Could there please be a Copy button for each Background image view like on the modifiers that would copy the settings for that view's image?

Probably wouldn't be all that hard to do as an add-on.
@Jason van Gumster: should probably be in the vanilla Blender rather than an addon to switch on or off
@Thomas Paul: Perhaps. I'm just saying that if your primary interest is in having this feature, then it's possible to have it sooner rather than later.
Absolutely!!! Would also love a way to edit the location of each background image on the viewport temporarily too!
