Fade out parent submenus

I often find browsing the Library Override sub menu a little confusing. The reason is that hovering on "Make" makes the submenu (Selected, Content and Selected & content) pop up exactly over the parent menu since there is little space available on the right, making it hard to read. A nifty solution would be to fade out or slightly grey out the parent menus while hovering on a submenu.

Or make the shadow bigger/darker...

Or a subtle sliding animation to show that a menu has actually popped up...
