Panel screenshot for easy team reviews.

In making Blender a more suitable software for enterprises, it's necessary to promote team communication to boost the chances that Blender will be accepted by more companies.

What about a right click function that takes a complete screenshot of an entire property panel and in a opens a save dialogue where you can save a complete, arrows down, rolled out screenshot of the entire panel and all it's settings and options.

This will allow artists who are struggling to find the perfect settings on a project by allow them to give and easily digestible screenshot to their manager. That manager then does not need to know Blender to easily see some of the settings that could be causing issues.

CASE: Someone needs a very complicated render and some of it is buzzing because it requires weird amounts of ray casts. Maybe the manager would know that certain kinds of glossy surfaces can require greater quantities of rays, but doesn't have time to explore the files and find the settings. That's when providing a screenshot of all the render settings would come in handy.

The same thing applies to any discipline where you need a good clear screenshot of blender's settings to send for review.

Sounds useful! I like the idea of taking the screenshot of an entire property panel to show all the settings changes...this would be time-consuming with just normal screenshots. Maybe highlighting to show when settings are different from the default would help too! Team members could easily identify changes that way.

How many people have attempted to screenshot their node setup and it was just too enormous to fit at a satisfactory resolution? Sounds like a great teaching tool.

Couldn't you just take a normal screenshot with Windows/Mac?

It's an old post but this would still be helpful beyond normal screenshots. Like when you take a screenshot on your phone you manually move the screen down to capture more of the content, the idea is that the script does that automatically.

It's useful for when there are very long panels to screenshot that go well beyond the comfortable view of what's on screen.
