node editors - zoom out far enough to see entire node tree.

The maximum node editor zoom is a set value which often means you can't zoom out far enough to see all the nodes you want to select.

Would be great if you could always zoom out far enough to see the entire node tree, instead of having a constant value for the max zoom.

I agree with this, it would make sense to limit the zoom out but only when everything is framed. More than that a birds eye feature (temporary zoom out) as exemplified here would be really helpful on large noodles. youtu.be/TXYYYKQ47os

Someday I will make it into a nice proposal. I swear ;)

Frame All doesn't accomplish this for you?

no.

Why not? Is there a bug?

I think the zoom out is enough, i can barely see it...

How big are your node trees?

bigger than the max zoom. The one in the 'PixelModeller AI' addon I develop spans approximately three 4k monitors, and that's with even most of the functions hidden in group nodes.

Don't worry though, if implemented, it won't be mandatory to zoom out further than you want to, whereas currently it's mandatory to not be able to zoom out as much as you sometimes need to.
