Resolution option for wireframe modifier

Working in architecture i find myself using wireframe modifier a lot for curtain wall and structure systems, and it would be great to add a segments option like many other modifiers that makes the wireframe smoother and for another option to add spheres on the vertices it would really help in structure systems
