Shader Editor Navigation
Greetings! I've been using Blender for a couple of years now, mainly on my laptop as a tool in my work in graphic design. Every time I download the latest update, the first thing I check is the shader editor, as I use it the most. While I absolutely love every single feature it provides, it's not laptop friendly. I'd love to see a navigation system inside the editor like the one that's available in the 3D Viewport, where you can navigate along the axes holding the CTRL key (on windows at least) and pressing the appropriate direction on the numpad. As it is now, if I want to scroll in either direction I have to find the scroll bar, often overlaying some options on the nodes underneath, making it rather difficult and frustrating to do so. I understand that such a complex software is meant to be used with the appropriate tools like the most basic one - a mouse, however I do most of my work outside meeting clients and proposing ideas on my laptop. Hope I'm onto something here, and hope we'll see some kind of solution soon enough. Thank you to whoever deals with these requests, you're appreciated. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

Blame windows and your laptop manufacturer. I've never had to use the scrollbar in the shader editor on my macbook trackpad. There's very little I cannot do in all areas of Blender on my trackpad. My windows laptops' trackpads are 95% useless in Blender.
