Material IOR dorpdown list
As PBR workflows are basically standard by now I try to create all my shaders as physically accurat as possible.
One major annoyance though is having to always google for correct IOR values and I admit I often just skip this step entirely for this very reason.
I thought it might be really handy and also easy to implement a little IOR library which can be accessed via a little dropdown menue (with search function) for shading nodes that expose the IOR vallue to the user.
I should add that I am a rather new Blender user and maybe something like that already exists and I don't know about it. Please let me know if that's the case.
Thanks for this great piece of software and freedom and big thank you to everyone involved in it's ceation!

blender 4.0 will have a new feature or option for the tooltip Implementation so you can can show pictures or data list of the values .....4.0 or 4.1 ...little cool project ans showcase ..
As far as I know that doesn't exist yet. In the meantime this two sites seem accurate:
physicallybased.info ,
pixelandpoly.com/ior.html
Thanks, pixelandpoly is where I usually look up IORs :)
