modifier convert to geometry nodes

we have this options in blender, convert to mesh, convert to curve, which has enhanced the flexibilty of our workflow.

Similarly, if there is a option to convert modifiers to geometry nodes, it will make geometry node workflow a lot easier. As artist can convert a modifier into geo-nodes, and copy paste that nodes to an existing geometry nodes workflow.

Also modifiers can be customized and made it more advanced using these feature. This is something you are not going to see in any other software. But our blender going have this with your support. This opens a whole new possiblity for animators, specially the once who choses faster workflow

"if there is a option to convert modifiers to geometry nodes" - do you expect that existing modifiers of Blender are somehow created with Geometry Nodes, or do you assume that Blender would have some sort of scripts to convert a modifier into a geometry node graph? And what modifiers would this work with?

I believe what is requested is that every geometry modifier has an equivalent node, so a bunch of new node types are added. There should be a "use nodes" toggle like shaders.

I think Modifier nodes are a more likely fix. Some of the Modifiers already have Node versition in the add menu while others can be replicated by breaking them down into smaller steps that we have nodes for. I think Blender 8 would have an equivalent node for all the built in Modifiers... Consider asking for the Modifier you are needing for tree to be made into a node. It might get moved up on the development priority with enough upvotes.
