Revamp the output properties video codec section with proper parameters and more codecs
The output properties need some love , theyve been forgotten ..
the parameters are just the same for every codec (minus h264) with generic parameters not fitting the real parameters... theres no possibility to really set up the codec you want .. also no general presets , just a rate of 6000 .. mux rate shouldnt even be exposed here
would be nice if this gets overhauled , theoretically it could write to any codec on the system(or at least in ffmpeg), but the ui and backgrounds scripts seem to be hardcoded is the only issue it seems ..

I think everyone agrees with that. But simply saying that it needs an overhaul doesn't have the same impact as if you would provide a mockup, details on what to fix, suggested presets, what a first milestone could have, etc.
