blender hair dynamics is pretty good but there is one big thing that is missing and its self collision option

The collision to other object got an improvement in 2.83
developer.blender.org/D6545
But for this to happen we have to wait for a rewrite and they usually take ages. Already some nice design papers but at least 1 to 2 years. It will be made with nodes and that increases the chance of it happening since geometry nodes is quite popular to develop.
