Animating Modifier parameters in the NLA

Hello I often want use Modifiers as part of animations, but get stuck when I want to loop the animations. The NLA has many of the tools that I need but modifier parameters are not part of the lists. It would be great to expand the NLA interface to the modifiers.

An example is using MeshSequence Cache of an abc file. The abc file is an animation that I would like to loop via the frame offset. I have not found a way to do that in the existing app.

The Build modifier is an another candidate for NLA manipulations

Thank you Thank you

AFAIK the NLA works by treating animation "actions" as stips, alowing you to do kind of a video editing out of animations. If you want to animate something, that has to be done inside the action itself, not the NLA. So I'd open the dopesheet, set it to Action Editor, and animate the modifiers in an action.

You would need right now to loop the animation in the the graph editor with curve modifiers there but if the object has an animated modifier, it can be added to a clip.
