Select Island Mode
I need a way to be able to select an island in one step, like in 3dsMax, Maya, Cinema4D. I don't understand why I have to press L every time I try to select an island!!!!! Please don't force users to press the shortcut every time.

I think pressing L is litteraly one step.
Just make custom hotkey for select linked (with attribute "by normal" for example) and assign it to 4 or double click, or whatever you like..

there is a addon for selecting islands ya know
And how it should be done? I don't see any proposal, only complaint.. You don't have to press "ctrl+L" btw, just "L" is enough
I don't see whats wrong with shortcuts
