Object measurement (3D printing) - Blender
Hi Guys!
First of All Thank You for the hard work! :)
Blender is Nice software, but many people have a serious problem with it, when measuring.
Novadays the 3D printing is very popular and the 3D modelling in Blender is very good but there is no way to measure the 3D obejcts correctley, and many people need to export their models to Sketcup/Inventor to measure the created objects.
This is very weird because there is a good measurment addon for Blender but the development stopped and not compatibile with the new version of Blender.
The other python scripts/addons are not enough for that, because most of them outdated and stopped.
Here is a good example to measure.
Github Code: github.com/Antonioya/blender/tree/master/measureit
Please add this addon somehow to Blender to use as a standard feature. It would be a Great Help for All of Us! :)
Thank You!

Blender already has a ruler for measuring. It's in the Grease Pencil tab of the Tool Shelf. What is missing from that, specifically?
