Particle Self Collision

Particles Currently Cannot Self-Collide

It came to my attention, recently, that particles in blender cannot collide with themselves. I would love to see this functionality added! It could have its own section in the particle settings, or, perhaps if the rendered object has a rigid body already, that would follow through with the particles (provided "use modifier stack" is clicked I suppose).

make this native devs! 10 years ago people were waiting for a more advance particle system and they are already there made by single people. WTF? other example the work of one person: blender pro and not taken as a dev. well some devs can still advice us paying addons as when asking him about a real material library. I mean pyro devil 6 years ago...but maybe, no counting 60 mo from python, more than 60 mo for blender would be a real danger for the industry. isn't it Ton?

* @ammusionist * I did see that! Just one of those things I think should be native.

* @ammusionist * Also this seems to be very out of date.

* @ammusionist * could be native with general controls for quick settings and advanced one. like in blender pro with particle 2 clics and boom perfect

This is extremely necessary!

There is a new particles node system that can do that i think but was put on hold for geometry nodes. I guess it will be revived when geometry nodes is in a good shape. The Whole physics system is deprecated (except mantaflow) and is waiting for a rewrite. New cloth, new particles, new collision and new Hair system.

This would be soooooo useful, I use particles a lot in my abstract motion graphics work and it would add a whole other dimension being able to have them not overlap with each other. +1 for this!
