Spot Light Beam Emission Point Size
Simple, have the option to change the size of the emission point of the spotlight.
So that rather then being a cone the beam could be similar to a searchlight or laser or a top / funnel or what ever the user desires.

It seems that this is already possible in area light. You can set the correct shape (rectangle) to map your model and using the Beam Spread property to adjust the size of the beam.
This request mentions specific to have this as spotlight. Could be that there is a reason and that current solution is not working in specific cases. If so please elaborate.
Also do the possibility to create a cone with less that 1°!
