Grease Pencil Edit Visible Frame

For those wishing to use this as an alternative for 2d animation, it would help significantly if Drawing Mode, Edit Mode, and Sculpt Mode respected the Time Offset Modifier.

Currently if you have a Time Offset Modifier on a Grease Pencil object with the frame offset and try to draw, it will draw where the play head is at instead the frame that is visible.

There have been some suggestions for instanced keyframes, much like Toon Boom. Letting the other editing modes respect that particular modifier would allow us to build rigs and addons that could simulate a Toon Boom workflow. BlenderDraws on WrongFrame.JPG

While I agree that it can be frustrating and I have done this myself many times I should point out that a GP can contain multiple Time Offset modifiers which can be independently activated/deactivated with key-frames. I thought maybe an option to "sync or lock" the main time to a Time Offset might work. For 2D only projects this might work, but if the Grease Pencils are used in bigger 2D/3D projects and with teams it could get confusing.
