Shortcuts idea

Hello, as a new Revit user, I really like native shortcuts system. You can double-tap, triple-tap, or even press multiple keys to access different functions. This offers multiple possibilities by combining letters, such as AA, AQ, ZA, AZ... Many tools are easily accessible without needing to use complex shortcuts like Ctrl + Shift + Alt or other contortionist key combinations.

What do you think of this idea?

Thanks 🙏🏻

You can already do that.

The following image shows a custom shortcut that pressing E then W twice, so EWW will mark the active object as asset.

Blender already offers some such features. For example, I press 5 for front view, and press it twice for the rear view.

G, GX, GXX (sequentially) are also commonly used.

As to pressing G+S as a combo press (for example)... Don't know if that can be done. I personally would not want to.
