Eevee 4.2 Backface culling in Material Tab
Moving from Eevee Legacy to Next reworked many of the options available within the Material tab. One of the most helpful to me in my pipeline was having an easy to use toggle for backface culling that worked while in Material Preview mode, and in Rendered Viewport mode.
In Eevee Next, to have the same functionality, I have to manually set up the shader to do this and its fairly time consuming compared to opening the material tab and clicking the backface culling toggle.
Is this difficult to restore with Eevee Next or is this perhaps something that was overlooked? Did you ever use this functionality?

Could you please elaborate further? Because as to my current kownledge the eevee backface culling is still there in the material settings and even better than ever (now shadows can be culled as well): docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/render/eevee/material_settings.html
I wish I had an excuse for being this dumb, but I was just born this way apparently.
I was looking for the traditional toggle and not even reading the interface...
Oh boy time for some introspection, ha ha. Thanks for calling me out on my nonsense!
