Create Blank Curve Object

With the new Curve Pen tool, we're finally getting close to my ideal workflow with curves in Blender. However, to use the curve pen the way it's intended, you first have to create a curve, then go into edit mode delete all the existing points. It works, but it seems like a silly workaround. It would be fantastic if there were simply a blank Bezier curve preset, similar to the blank grease pencil preset, that took care of these steps for you and made it so you could use the curve pen right away.
