Automatically Denoise Light AOVs / Render Passes on Output

Currently, Blender only denoises the Beauty pass during rendering. Light passes such as Diffuse Glossy Transmission etc must be denoised manually in the compositor, requiring large node setups and a separate EXR output.

This becomes very messy when exporting multilayer EXRs into a compositing software like Nuke, since you have to manage both the original render output and compositor-generated denoised passes.

It would be extremely useful to have an option in View Layer or Output settings such as “Denoise Output Passes” that automatically applies the render-time denoiser to selected Light/noisy AOVs before writing them to the final EXR.

This would allow Blender to output a single clean multilayer EXR directly from render time, which would greatly simplify the compositing workflow and reduce setup complexity. Screenshot 2026-05-16 003258.png

I second this. I'd love the option for both automatic and manual.
