Color Transmission

The transmission input in the principled shader should be a color input. Plants and other thin materials will have translucency in the principled shader this is called transmission. so why is it that with the principled shader only allows white transmission? plants and many other materials will transmit light in the color of their albedo. I would like to see this be a possibility in the principled shader to save time in the shading workflow. It also would have no destructive effect to what is currently possible with the principled shader.

Transmission makes the shader refract light, the slider is mixing what would be the diffuse shader with the refraction shader before adding reflections. It is meant for making surfaces like glass and uses the base color input to tint the glass. Plants and other thin materials use a different setup like subsurface scattering (which has a slider and a color input) or adding a translucent shader after the principled shader.
